It might be convenient to buy a wig online but there’s also the problem that you sometimes don’t know what you’re getting. Some people part with their hard-earned cash and end up with a poor quality wig; don’t let that be you. Here are my top tips for buying a wig online.
Do your research before you buy
You would do this before you buy any other item and your wig is no exception. There’s a huge choice of wigs online and they vary a lot in price, quality, type, style, and colour, so to avoid being completely confused, know what you want before you shop.
Think about what colour you want, your preferred length, style, and whether you want a lace front or a closure.

Check out what other customers are saying
You think you’ve found your perfect wig, but what are other customers saying? Read the reviews but also be aware that some companies do unfortunately put fake positive reviews up on their websites. For peace of mind before you buy, Google the company and see what people are saying about them elsewhere. You’ll soon get an idea of whether you can trust them before you hand over any money.
Don’t go on hair grade alone
Hair grades are supposed to give you an indication of the quality of the hair you’re buying, but sadly, not all companies are truthful about the quality of the hair they’re selling, so don’t let the grade be your only deciding factor when it comes to buying a wig online. Ask questions
Before you buy it’s a good idea to have a chat with the seller or wig maker you can ask all the questions you need to. If they’re the real deal, they’ll have no problem telling you what you need to know. If something doesn’t feel right at this point, take your custom elsewhere.
