Olaplex No.6 Bond Smoother is the latest release in their product range, and as you might have guessed, it also does wonders for your hair! If you want to revive damaged hair, add moisture, detangle, strengthen, or eliminate frizz or flyaways, this is the product you need.
What’s in it?
One of the things I love about Olaplex, apart from it being an amazing product, is that it’s very gentle, non-toxic, pH balanced, and free from parabens, sulphates, and SLS/SLES free. It’s also cruelty free, so it’s a great choice for vegans. I love knowing that I’m using products in the salon that are safer for me and my clients.
Here are some of the key ingredients:
Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate: Olaplex’s patented ingredient. It works by repairing disulphide bonds in the hair that are broken when the hair is over processed and too much heat styling is used.
Fermented Green Tea Oil: This penetrates the hair deeply, nourishing it and improving its feel.
Coconut oil, vitamin E, fermented argan oil, and sealift: These soothe the hair and have anti-ageing benefits particularly for the hair follicles.
Grapeseed oil: This contains antioxidant compounds like beta-carotene, and vitamins C and E, vitamin D, essential fatty acids, and polyphenols to protect and nourish the hair.
Phytantriol and Panthenol: These ingredients help to prevent damage and thicken the hair while improving shine.
What hair types is it suitable for?
It works its magic on all hair types, whether your hair is fine and straight, or thick and curly. Whatever hair type you have, a little goes a long with Olaplex No.6. Start with an amount equal to the size of a 10p piece and add more later if needed.
