After hairdressing for many years and being exposed to a lot of chemical nasties, I started suffering from really bad dermatitis. I could barely use anything on my skin as it was just too sore and sensitive.
But along came Aveda, and it changed my life.
I found that their skincare range was perfectly nourishing and gentle for my skin, and I went from not being able to wear makeup to being able to paint my face with some of Aveda’s best products (their red lippies are to die for!)
But what makes Aveda’s makeup so wearable?
The company uses mostly natural ingredients including pure flower and plant essences, which are much gentler on the skin than synthetic ingredients. Their products are also certified organic and are suitable for vegans.

Feed my lips™ pure nourish-mint™ lip gloss
This vegan lip gloss is made from 98% naturally-derived ingredients and it delivers all day colour and moisture. It smooths the lips and plumps them, making them appear fuller, and it feels light and not at all sticky, like some lip glosses can.
It’s so moisturising because it contains a nourishing blend of certified organic cupuaçu seed fruit butter and mango seed butter, as well as a unique super fruit blend of açai, pomegranate, avocado and mangosteen.

Inner light™ mineral loose powder
